The brief for this project was to communicate your summer holiday to people living a thousand years in the future. I had spent the summer not doing much but bumming around and getting drunk with friends. From these drinking sessions came the concept that we were Gentlemen of Leisure (which was kind of true seeing as none of us had jobs but ironical in the sense that we were all pretty skint and living at home with our parents). So one day we decided to realise our beautiful delusion. We went to a charity shop, bought some suits and went out to visit the country clubs, harbours and racecourses of our fair country. The photographs from this outing plus some Dandy-inspired copy led to the Gentlemen of leisure style guide 2005 - PRIDE DIGNITY and REFINEMENT.
